Mission Statement

The Mission of Hayward Outfitters is to provide an array of fun, safe, reasonably priced outdoor activities and services in a professional and friendly atmosphere to the residents and visitors of the Hayward Area and strive to make a positive, lasting impression on all who visit us by sharing knowledge, experiences and enthusiasm.

Vision Statement

It is the goal of Hayward Outfitters to provide people with access to canoe or kayak paddling and educate them on how to have fun, be safe and preserve, protect and promote the surrounding Riverways, Lakes and Parks for future generations to enjoy. Through canoe and kayak sales, rentals and guided trips, paddling and first aid classes and summer youth programs, as well as other activities to promote outdoor recreation we hope to assist people on learning new skills or improving upon existing ones, and be there to help those who wish introduce friends and family members to the sport of paddling. Hayward Outfitters will endeavor to provide the opportunity for participation of everyone by accommodating families, both large and small groups, and couples as well as individuals.
