Hayward Outfitters is proud to be a Sponsor for the 1st annual Banderdinker. A fun day of paddling to benefit Charity. The Backroads Banderdinker is Coming June 4th, 2011!!! What is the Banderdinker, you ask? It is an opportunity to slow down and enjoy some old fashioned fiddles, food & fun. It is an 8km kayak or canoe paddle around the Big Island of Nelson Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. To be clear, it’s not a race. In the words of Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it!” During the morning paddle, you will hit established checkpoints where you will pick up a bead and find a little food & live music on the water. For the competitive types, we will have Dinker Drag Races at Noon! It is only $23 to participate and if you need to rent a kayak, we can help you with that.
